In accordance with state statue 7-38-46D, notice is hereby given that the 2024 Second Half Tax Notices were mailed to property owners. Taxes will become delinquent after Monday, May 12. Avoid penalty and interest charges by paying the second half installment on time.
Payments can be made in any of the following ways:
- In-Person Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Doña Ana County Treasurer's Office, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces.
- By Mail using the self-addressed envelope provided with your tax notice.
- Online at www.DonaAna.gov/treasurer/payments
- By Phone at 575-647-7433 or 877-827-7200, ext. 7433.
- Drop Box (no cash) at front entrance of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces.
If your taxes are paid by an escrow holder, they will receive the tax notice. Property owners who have not paid their taxes in full, or did not receive a tax bill, should immediately contact the Treasurer's Office at 575-647-7433.
If you own a mobile home and did not receive a tax bill, please contact the Treasurer's Office. Mobile homes are taxed separately from the land upon which they are located.
Property taxes are each property owner's personal obligation. Penalty and interested are not affected if an owner did not receive their tax bill. New Mexico Property Tax Code does not allow the County Treasurer to forgive penalty and interest, once incurred.
